KSS asked and leadership delivered, Halloween 2021 was very well executed with the perfect balance of trick and treat sprinkled throughout the school. This was definitely a different year of surprises and celebrations given that certainly did not disappoint. Unfortunately due to our current situation with the pandemic, there is a serious damper on what can and cannot be done. This has unlocked a new level of creativity and I would say everyone was impressed.
Halloween 2020 was very impressive considering how limited options were due to COVID-19 crisis. Last year there was a haunted
house in the multi-purpose room, a costume contest, the Plinko game, and a few other activities. The leadership class had a little bit more flexibility this year, however, most of the social distance and mask mandated are in full effect. The class planned some fun and safe activities for 2021.
The costume contest carried forward from the 2020/2021 school year and it certainly had an
effect on the volume of students who dressed up. There was also a new addition in the form of a spooky story contest that would be shared on the announcements. They were all supposed to be 2 sentences long with a spine-chilling twist at the end. These stories were all very well written and added to the excitement of the Halloween season.
