School Sports During COVID-19

Alena and Meaza

Updated: Sep 25, 2022

Many of our regular activities of life have been affected due to the Coronavirus, sports being one of the main ones. Many people have seen on TV that many major sports teams aren’t currently allowed to play, but luckily our own Kondors teams will be returning this year. School sports have always been an excellent source for school spirit and a great way for students to get involved. Last school year, most school sports were limited to small teams and no games with other schools. So, how is it different this year? Players don’t have to wear masks when they are on the court, however they are required to wear them on the sidelines. The safety of the players is still the number one priority, and with the right measures in place, our teams are now allowed to play other schools and compete in tournaments. In the athletic world we are almost back to normal. Whether you like volleyball or cross country running, KSS has got a sport for you this fall. We have had a great lineup of teams this year and so let's give them all our support. GO KONDORS GO!
